Our Benefiting Youth Programs

Our Mission and Focus

The Silicon Valley Leadership Group Foundation is excited to work with its Heart and Soles Run’s benefiting organizations from 2017 through 2019 to fund projects relevant to the “Healthy Students” in the community. Funds raised through the run for our beneficiary partners will be used to promote increased physical activity and access to healthy foods among the student populations they serve.

Schools who participate in JUST Run receive an end of the year stipend.

Heart & Soles funding will assist schools with the implementation of physical activities through the program.

Specialized Foundation, Outride

At Outride we believe in granting this opportunity to all kids. We believe that bicycles not only have the ability to improve the health of our children but also the potential to empower middle schoolers to take chances, try new things, and see the world in new ways. Bicycles have the power to make lives better, beyond winning races. They have the power to bring people together, to motivate individuals to be better humans, and take advantage of what the world has to offer.

Our Athlete Ambassadors give the youth in our Riding for Focus programs someone to look up to. These athletes each have a story of how cycling has impacted their lives – inside and outside of competition. We want our kids to see the whole picture when it comes to bike riding, and we found some incredible athletes to help us achieve this goal.
